Whoever gave Nickelback a record deal must’ve been from the Internet.

So I guess some people listen to music just to listen to music. They hear a song and never feel anything. They love to dance to it, or scream along with it at a show, but they never rely on it to cure loneliness or depression. They don’t see music as a safe haven or a best friend or a magnet for all the sad people in the world. They don’t break up with their boyfriends and immediately turn on an album. They don’t often fall apart and think to themselves “at least I have music to glue me back together.” Those people just don’t like silence while driving alone in their cars.

I could never relate.

listening to Explosions in the Sky always makes me feel like I’m in a movie or something

the time when my cat gets bored with grooming himself and comes to kiss my face is what I look forward to most in a day
